The fit is great and the grey color is cool looking. Sole is pretty grippy for flat mountain bike pedals. No need to go with the heavier Freerider if all your doing is trail or light all mountain stuff IMO. I really don't think you can beat this shoe for the price. Suffers only from one poor design feature. The midsole padding on this shoe is firm - which is what you want for this application. But the insoles are a bit flimsy and loosely glued to the inside of the shoe. You have to peel off some insole if you want to upgrade...which is not hard to do. Again, for the price and even more...can't beat this shoe.
This shoe fits my feet. My feet are wide and sometimes I have to go larger to accommodate my forefoot. These are great. I hope that they don't change them as I would like to get another pair when I wear these out. I'm a teacher that commutes to work on a bike.
